They are easy to bend and work with, but you must be mindful of how much pressure you apply to them, based on what materials you add to them. I wanted to use these to add beads, so I needed to bend the straight-up piece (the piece that goes in your earring hole) flat with a jewelry plier. I was able to bend it back in place with some ease. However, I recommend bending only a little or not too often because the wire will break.
